Not bad for an 18v impact driver.

Noob question, but is there a great deal of benefit to an impact driver over a 'normal' cordless driver (I have this one

Impact drivers will easily put 100mm screws into wood with ease, rapidly. Although using a good diamond impact screw bit is a must.

A normal drill driver would not be up to such a task.

just to ADD impacts are only designed for screwing
although you can drill small shallow holes in thin material it will knacker the drill bit and need expensive hex drive drills

I have this wee cracker and it is fabulous.

My make is the older Blue driver. Same specification.

You get this great buzz whilst driving long screws. It also makes a great noise.
