Hi,
I want to repaint our downstairs loo, thing is at the moment there is a border going round the middle which i want to get rid of, someone suggested i paint over it but it was already peeling in some places - it seems to be coming off in one peiece but looks like the people who lived there before painted around the border as the paint behind is a different color
My problem is that the border has been on so long its pulled a lot of the paint off behind it, so its patchy - whats the best way to get the remaining bits of paint off the wall? |

remove border, sand, then fill with ready mixed polyfiller (all slightly higher than surrounding area), let it dry, then sand flat. Should disappear _________________ Go on, adopt a greyhound http://www.dgrescue.org.uk/ .......................................................................... |

If the readymixed Pollyfiller is difficult to sand then try useing a powder filler like Tetrion or Toupret, these sand down very easly. _________________ I'm not a roman mum, I'm a kike, a yid, a heebie, a hook-nose, I'm kosher mum, I'm a Red Sea pedestrian, and proud of it! |
