Hi,

I want to repaint our downstairs loo, thing is at the moment there is a border going round the middle which i want to get rid of, someone suggested i paint over it but it was already peeling in some places - it seems to be coming off in one peiece but looks like the people who lived there before painted around the border as the paint behind is a different color

My problem is that the border has been on so long its pulled a lot of the paint off behind it, so its patchy - whats the best way to get the remaining bits of paint off the wall?

remove border, sand, then fill with ready mixed polyfiller (all slightly higher than surrounding area), let it dry, then sand flat. Should disappear Thumbright

If the readymixed Pollyfiller is difficult to sand scratch then try useing a powder filler like Tetrion or Toupret, these sand down very easly. Thumbright
