Hi all
I patched up alot of the blown plaster on the outside of the house last year and then painted it with two coats. I hope this will sort some of the damp issues which I have guessed have come from water penetrating from the outside
How long should I leave it before I can decorate inside. It is a house built in the 1880's and the walls are basically granite and rubble etc. Should I wait before it totally dries out which could take quite a while or could I use some of the 'damp' type paints if people feel they are effective
cheers

You should leave it as long as possible to ensure that it is completely dry.
