Hi, i have been living in my house for a year now and notied that walls get wet, upstairs and downstairs..the wet is not near any windows or pipes so there isnt no leaks and it doesnt just look wet, when u feel it the wall is soakin the outside is very thick stone and the windows are single glazed..

hope some1 can help thanks

Also please tell us something about the age and type of construction of the house.

If it's old with stone walls and lime mortar then it's a very different problem to something newer built with cement and a cavity wall. Have you checked the gutters and drainpipes?

I would improve ventilation of the property first to eliminate condesation rather than other forms of damp
