Anyone any experience of treating rising damp with injected damp proof creams and / or high pressure injection. Do they work? which is best/easiest/most effective?
House has been injected some time in the very distant past as it has had all the bricks drilled and then capped with plastic caps. Unfortunately it has obviously failed in some places and damp is now rising - mostly up the outside of the house. Can i reuse the same holes to inject or do i need new ones? Have seen a couple of video demos of people injecting walls with DP cream with a hand gun, but they inject it into the mortar- does it have to go there or could it go into the bricks? (BTW it is a solid brick wall not a cavity one)

Any advice or experiences of damp proofing much appreciated, cheers.

I have never looked into it, but you may be able to buy the product and install yourself, rather than using them to install.

I have a friend that used this system and has been damp free for ten years. The best thing about this product is that it lasts as long as the house is standing. (solid stone walls)
