Hi Simon

The problem is they move you from one house to another, alot of the houses here have damp and other problems....I have a gas inspection test in Feb this year....I have no idea who they use but everytime ive had any type of inspection regarding anything the guys always wear MOD polo tops......

My last inspection was a while back....he said everything was fine? Got the certificate...the only thing i remember was he said that the water (i think a filter type thing in the main system in the kitchen) wasnt releasing properly....

Im going to buy one those monitors tomorrow...

CAN I ALSO MENTION....

last year there was a gassy smell just next to my garden and at 10pm at night some guys came out to sort it...i remember going out complaining of the noise and how late it was as my eldest was sleeping!
I do now and again notice this gassy smell up the bath near a drain thingy????
So confused.....

Hi Emma,

The water thing is probably just a 'Pressure Reducing Valve'......under the sink?

If you can smell gas, call Transco now on 0800 111 999, tell them you have smelt it in the house too, they will be straight round to check it out....let us know how you get on.

Thank you Mod 2 what a c0ck

I must admit if it's a MOD property I would think they would be pretty quick to come out as a result of a potential CO report. Do you know the make and model of the boiler?
