House is 1930's ex Council 3BED Semi. No DPC (Felt) but has proof of exsisting work done (Brickwall Injection) Not in mortar, in the bricks along the base of the house. Pointing seems fine, the whole house was SANDEXED and bitumen around the base last summer.

PROBLEM

Living Room
The area in 3 of the 4 corners of the room, has Damp walls. Week between Xmas and New Year iv chipped away old Plaster which was damp and had Black growth growing up it (1M High) - Done the old Cement mix / PVA Sealer / Re-Plaster Job. These walls were also DPC Injected with cream. These corners are still damp, one is a Corner section of the house.

Hallway
Front Door location, near Understair Cupboard. (Leads on from Front room and Kitchen) - Stairs is also in hallway leading upstairs.
This location has ONE 500 x 500 Radiator (With the Front room door closed) is trying to heat my HALLWAY - KITCHEN and LANDING. No other Radiator downstairs other than Front room. Which we keep closed as its COLD in the house and we try to keep warm watching TV ect with Blankets over us. There is a Section of the Wall near the Front door and between the Understair cupboard door that is damp. It seems to be Beads of water collecting. Does not seem to be coming from the brick work outside, Condensation? Cold Spot...?

Understair Cupboard was DPC Injected with cream, Insulated (Kingspan Therma Boards) Batten with felt underneath them, Foil Backed Boards and Replastered afterwards. This was just a Double brick skin, nothing else. The Two External walls over the cold period used to be Soaking in WATER. Infact at one point we had a strip of Frost in the very Corner of the walls (The 2 External Walls) about 600mm High from the floor, 100mm band of it. Im thinking this was Condensation? Infact im thinking its ALL Condensation but im throwing it to the masses, as im at my wits end at the moment, and dont have the knowledge.

Half Landing Area

Walk up stairs and you turn back on yourself to continue up to 1st Floor. External wall CORNER Section.
Skirting off, again Chipped away and Replastered. Wall was also DPC Injected with cream. Again beads of water collecting where the skirting was. This section before work done had over a Meter of dampness up wall, some days Really Wet.

Front Bedroom

Small problem (1st Floor) again Corner setion of the house, external wall. Dampness - Black growth.

So basically iv DPC Injected / Cement / PVA Solution / Replastered but still collecting water in the house.
In hallway Iv even Painted "Damp Block" Paint which has dried but the beads of water have still appeared.

Do I need more heating downstairs / Upstairs only has 3 Radiators (Single Fin NON-Convect) type...?
How do I insulate the walls to stop Cold Spots around the house...?

Anyone.

Living Room - did you add integral waterproofer to the render mix?

Hallway- Sounds like there could be some debris in the cavity that is bridging it, causing a cold spot.

Sounds like you might need another radiator or two!

Half Landing Area-
Sounds like condensation collecting on the cold surface of the wall.

Front Bedroom-

Sounds like condensation again.

I used to live in a terraced house and found that leaving the central heating on low all day helped tremendously. If I switched it off the windows were dripping in condensation!

Improved ventillation is the key in most cases!
