Ends butted together always look crap, I always mitre them. My heart always sinks when I get a coving job, I've just never liked it.

The books say mitre when joining together two bits in a straight run, but in my house they are butted, so that is what I did. In the flat I am living in, they are mitred. Hi ho.

Not if his builder is as busy as mine ...
