| I had the liberty of putting up some plaster coving a few months back, however the adhesive i used (cant remember the make) didnt hold very well i had to lather it on and was left holding it up for ages. I was wondering if anyone had any tried and tested recommendations they could give me. |

| Never had any real problems no matter what I have used in the past - the lazy way is to buy it ready mixed (more expensive) but dont be afraid to put a decent amount on - Sounds as if you may have spread it too thinly - Put enough on so it splurges out when you push the coving home and then clean off with your finger and/or sponge - If in any doubt a few well placed pin nails top and bottom should hold it in place until dry and then fill the holes when removed - In theory though, if you put enough adhesive on, the suction should hold it up |
