Was out looking for a drill today
Picked up a Bosch PB650RE from homebase for just under £25 down from £37, B&Q wanted £40 for the same drill on sale.
B&Q did however have a 900W skil with variable trigger and 2 speed gearbox for £40, which I was going to get but as the wife reminded me, I'm between jobs at the moment and did I really need the Skil...sadly she had a point there.
Money saved is going on loft insulation to try and keep the electric bill to a realistic level this winter.

Best price I've seen at the moment is £199. I can buy enough to cover the thin areas in my loft for £12 for B&Q with their subsidised insulation
Thanks for the tip though will have a look.

Annoyingly if I owned this place I could get a 100% grant because of the wife being disabled, however because I'm a council tenant I don't qualify. So seems stick with the current plan, register the improvement I'm making and claim it back when I leave, unless I exercise right to buy.
