Is it something to do with a thing that shrinks?

Hi Foggy - couldn't PM me too could you? Thumbright
I use what I think Richie is referring to but doesn't work on certain DVDs (great generally, though Laughing )

So - You want to make a BACKUP of the original so that to prevent wear and tear etc. (nothing wrong with that) There is a lot of software out on the net, some free and some not. DVDSHRINK is very simple one to use if your not familiar with the ripping process - and it's a freebee.

Hope that helps

I like DVDShrink a lot too Thumbright
Very easy to use - and if you DON'T want to shrink it, you don't have to - it will do a 100% copy just as easily

On DVD Shrink .....

I have been using it for quite a while now and it works on most DVDS fine, but had a problem today.

On one PC, it came up with an encyption error on two DVDs that is not usually encypted- but when I tried the same operation on my regular laptop, it worked fine.

Any ideas?

Wood Magnet - one word of caution

DVDShrink is definately legitimately free! HOWEVER... there are some wide-boys on the internet who have renamed it DVDShrink 2008 and 2007 and other type stuff and are charging cussing

Just do a search for DVD Shrink and find the version 3.2.0.15 - that is a good version Thumbright
