I am at present revamping my kitchen, and I have got to the point where the cooker hood needs replacing.

The existing hood does not vent to the outside as the cooker is on the party wall. The new hood I have bought will recirculate or vent via the bridging unit to the outside, via the roof (single storey kitchen), Cooker still on party wall.

I have seen a plain tile roof vent, is this ok to use coupled with 100mm flexible pipe, or is there a better way.

Cheers
