Hi there, I'm in the process of converting a small bedroom into a bathroom. Should i be doing anything to make the existing plastered walls water/moisture proof? I have removed a wall of lathe and plaster and boarded it - should i have used a specialist board? Should i use a specialist plaster?
As you can guess i am a plastering amateur - any help is appreciated!!!
Cheers, Si. |

Most walls will be ok with normal plasterboard, but if it is an area where it will be subject to much moisture, for example in shower cubicles then use aquapanel, especially if you use mosaic tiles. You would also need to tank it do do a proper job.
