is anyboby else having problems with aol when trying to use there ps3 to the playstation network !!!!

computer works normaly but the playstation support says the fault is with aol!!!!

(allans son) "oh get rid of AOL and ps3 and get Xbox360 " 360s are rubbish always brake and to expensive when u buy evrey thing for it :grin:

some more info on error codes

is it wireless or wired ? been told they can easily "drop" the connection on wireless and only way round is to disconnect ps3 and reboot modem then connect back up

or better still try your local 2nd hand shop they will give you a fiver for it Thumbright

sorry watching football ..missed a bloody goal as well Rolling Eyes

it worked on both but was wireless last time

I've just got AOL Gold broadband, NetGear router and a PS3 - had problems getting online all morning... BUT just managed to connect the PS3 wirelessly by switching the security settings on my NetGear router from WPA to WEP (address 192.168.0.1, and select wireless in the side menu). Seems to have done the trick, although my iPod Touch won't connect wirelessly now Sad

Why would AOL offer a PS3 and NetGear router to its customers when they don't connect wirelessly out-of-the-box? angry
