My daughters have a conker playing tounament this week at school. They wondered if there is any truth in the conker pickled in vinegar myth. As you've mostly been little boys with conkers, thought I'd ask the experts. Can anything be done to harden them?

Don't forget the safety specs, Totector shoes, ear defenders, etc. Comply with HSE regs!
