The most boring sport on earth....why not give them all identical cars to see who truly is the best driver and make it a bit more interesting? The team with the most reliable and best car always wins!

The track would benefit from being an extra 18 foot wider or the cars 3 foot narrower then there may be overtaking that doesn't require the other car to be in the pit lane.

Well done to Hamilton though.

No. I have been unable to since Murdoch has taken it from the clutches of the common man, and he ain't getting my brass.

Oh, is it on there? There must be some other reason that I've not watched it....

I like MotoGP, Superbikes and BTCC and will watch them when they're on, but F1 isn't as exciting to watch as any of them.

I thought the BBC only had practice sessions and quals, didn't know it was on BBC, mind I'm normally at work when it's on.

I'm an ardent fan and have enjoyed many of the races this season. The only boring races are those at tracks that don't permit overtaking but that's hardly the fault of the drivers!

There have consistently been races-within-races as team drivers compete against each other as well as for the race win. Hamilton/Rosberg has been a season-long needle match although Hamilton has proven himself as the better RACER of the two.

Ricciardo was, for me, the driver of the season for his brilliant driving, overtaking and generally getting much more out of the car than anyone would expect. The fact that he also made Vettel look like th amateur he really is was a bonus!

Whilst it would be interesting to see who's the best driver by virue of identical cars (that's what Indie car racing is about) the whole principle of F1 is vehicle development and the hybrid technology they are displaying will soon manifest itself in many domestic vehicles - the power and ful economy gains they have demonstrated are truely amazing!

The loss of live coverage of all races by the BBC to Murdoch was a travesty and I refuse point blank to pay to watch it on Sky. I'll either find an online live transmission (free) or just avoid the news until I see the highlights - other than the occasional live transmission by the Beeb anyway.

It's been a good season all round with ups and downs all across the pit lane but despite initial concerns over the possibility of 'parade' races (which never really happened) it's been an exciting year for F1.

Looking forward to next season!

(can you tell I'm a fan? )

You are paying to watch it on bbc tho by virtue of the rip-off TV licence which makes sky's subscription look good value. I for one don't mind paying 30 quid a month to sky, that gets me the full package(via the never-ending 50% discount) and the sports coverage is streets ahead off bbc or itv IMO.

You're supposed to anyway...I've never seen one of those detector vans for donkeys years.
It puts into perspective tho just how much the TV licence is compared to what you actually recieve in programmes,it's legal blackmail making people pay it when you recieve so little in the way of channels.
Stick adverts on BBC I say!!
