Hi, I'm going to do a bit of tiling and one of the wall has a fairly large (half an inch) depression in it as you hold a straight edge to it, the wall is only about 4 foot long. I have some bonding plaster left over from a bit of repair work I was doing so was wondering if it would be alright just to try and level it out with this or would it be best to use skimming plaster?
Thanks for any help.

Yes use Bonding, Skimming plaster wont cover the half inch, bonding is much better. make sure you PVA the area you are Bonding.
