Hi Guys,

I need to extend the slave speaker cable on my computer speakers, not sure what this type of jackplug is called, have done a Google but am still unsure, the speakers are Creative as per my review below(sorry, was being lazy, they are T40 II's). Can anyone help?

Thanks,
Simon

Simon,
Have you got a picture of the end of the existing cable that plugs into your computer?

Are they like the red and black ones on the right or the stereo mini jack on the left:

Hi Dave,

I knew you'd come through, will take a pic at some point soon. Did you read what I said about the Gala?

Yes, I hope to see you there. Just got a grunt of the Boss so I think that means it's OK to go.

Are the plugs anything like those in the link?

Hi Dave,
What I need is to extend this plug, the other end is hard wired into the slave speaker, so I need a female to plug this into, an extension with a male on t'other end tp plug into the main speaker.

Any ideas?

Cheers S

Not very clear picture. Can you try again.

It says on HERE that the speaker system uses 3.5mm Jacks but the one in your picture seems to have an outer sleeve. and the socket on the speaker in my picture looks more like a phono socket. Does it plug into the socket below "To Left Speaker"?

This is what I think you need:
Phono (male) To Phonp (female)

The one in this link is twin so one length Red or black will not be needed for just one speaker, but it is cheaper than buying the single cable from Maplins:

You can also get them from here: http://www.kenable.co.uk/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=phono+extension

They have all different lengths, just split the cable again into one :) - delivery around 99p.

BG :)
