Hi guys

Apologies if I'm in the wrong thread but I thought this was the most appropriate one.

I'm looking to wall mount a 49 inch LG TV onto a plasterboard and stud wall. The TV weighs approximately 13kg. I've located the studs and I'm fairly comfortable with the measurement and installation process.

As with previous installations I plan to use coach screws to attach the bracket to the wall. The brother in law and I had a chat regarding what size and length of coach screw to use. I was thinking M6 screws at 50mm length. My brother in law is going with M8 with a length of at least 60mm.

Can anyone offer pros/cons on the above suggestions or recommend anything else and their reasons.

Thanks for taking the time to read this and for any input.
