I saw on the news lastnight, a load of people are setting up a camp next to an airport, to protest about carbon emissions from flights etc...

The newsreader was talking to one of them, when he asked how many flights he had taken recntly....
To which he replied, only about one a year recently.

So thats probably two, one outbound, one inbound...

So matey, pack your tent up and shut the hell up. Thumbright

I just don't get it.

The planet has been getting warmer since the ice age Wink

This year has been the wettest year for 200 years and they never had air traffic and cars 200 years ago did they ?

i just wish they would change from 'global warming' to 'saving limited resources', which makes a lot more sense

It's "Climate Change" now, not Global Warming.

Last year Climate Change meant we should expect hotter dryer summers in the future. I see that this year it's wetter summers...

The rubbish uttered by the tree huggers is amazing. 2 deg C hotter by the end of the centuary & it will be all but impossible to live in Britain. Well, northern France is 2 deg C hotter & they seem to live OK.

I agree stoday, last year we were all going to be on water meters because of the water shortages and droughts that we were going to have from then onwards this year people are drowning on footpath's and in the streets

lack of water is purely down to investment. They built dams etc in the 50's, and done nothing since then !
