A lot of my customer presume they need their bathroom re grouted when they cant get it clean. I have found this grot buster stuff to be the best to clean the grout, and it appears to keep it clean for much longer.

The 'dirt' appears to be shower gel and shampoo that clings to the grout. I have always used HG grout cleaner before, but this takes longer to work, and doesnt work as well as this stuff.

The Grot Buster Liquid clings to the surface, and the bottle has a fine nozzle on it that directs the bleach accurately onto the grout line. Only thing to do is to have the window open as it stinks.

Some pictures..........the last one the grout is still drying, so is shaded slightly differently over surface.

before

apply grout buster

wash off after 5 minutes.......like new

forgot to add.........not scrubbing etc required, just apply and wash off

and, I dont have shares in Domestos.....honest :wink:

After, with the silicon replaced as well

You can also get the stuff in poundland now.............and yes, its £1 :lol:

When its as bad as job above, I also use one of these very usefull brushes

its true..........apart from the fumes from it. You really need a fan at a open window, or you start feeling sick :puke:

once its cleaned properly, this stuff will keep the silicon mould free. Just spray on silicon twice a week, and wash off 5-10 minutes later.

If mould is already on/within the silicon, then this stuff normally doesnt work. In this case, you need to replace the silicon. It just ensures that mould doesnt appear again
