Good afternoon
I need some help - we have knocked some walls down to create an open plan space - however due to a budget we had to leave a chimney breast in the centre of the room
We are going to attach an island worktop to the island and need to add a few inches on to each side of the breast to fit the worktop
To cut costs we would rather not plaster it - could someone tell me how we could make a feature of it without having to spend money on a plasterer.
Something like plasterboard might be ok but i want it to look nice
thanks |

Is the breast in brickwork? Perhaps repoint or over painted this could be very much a feature/focal point of the room, think fireplace in a living room. _________________ Building Materials Sourcing
