can someone offer any advice on how difficult it is to change a household stairway with wooden panel banister to spindles instead please..? also would anyone be able to estimate cost of the work?

Are you doing it yourself?

The materials are quite pricey and it is a lot of work that needs accurate planning out and construction. It depends on how long the run is and what extras are need when the panels are removed. Have you checked that there are not original spindles boxed in?
