How do I change over email providers I am using Icredimail but this is taking forever to open when the computer has been running, when it used to open quickly almost instantly! I have Outlook installed so how do I change over without loosing my address book, to then get rid of Incredimail off the system. Can I keep my email address too?
Hope someone can guide me through this step by step as I am lost at the moment!
Cheers Rick. :dunno:

This is how I did it a few years ago
IF you open outlook select tools and options there should be an option to make it the default email client, then open address book select tools then import here you should see the Incredimail client to import your contacts to Outlook,
Hope this helps ,but if you hang on a bit someone else may know a easier way

You won't be changing your email provider, just the email programme. I can't help with Outlook because I try not to use Microsoft products any more than is necessary, but most email programmes will allow you to import your old address book.

Your email address will only change if change your Internet provider (ISP).

I would recommend that you take a look at Mozilla Thunderbird. It's free, and it will import the stuff you want, I'm fairly sure it imports the address book automatically but if not there's instructions below on how to do it.
