I have now started thinking about making a table and chairs to match the rest of the furniture i have built for us so far, i have a fairly simple design in mind, but....

Chairs, the back and back legs, i guess the normal method would be to bandsaw them from a piece of stock wide enough to incorporate the curve?
The square size would be about 40mm (softwood) though, what about bending, or laminating them?

Should make them from steel, bending 40mm square steel isnt a problem Laughing

Or perhaps, how about some thoughts on the design of the chairs, i dont think steel (wrought iron effect) with perhaps wooden seats wouldn't look out of place with the design if its done right.
