am fitting new kitchen light with just neutral and live on the fitting ...wires coming from ceiling are 3xblack 3xred 3xearth ...have found switched live and isolated all reds put switched live in live and put 2xblack in neutral ...switched light on really dim glow also bathroom switch turns kitchen light on/off any ideas thanks

You say you've found the switched live...how did you find it and exactly how have you wired it? all reds together?

I reckon you've got the wrong black in the live terminal..
