Hi,
While away last week we had the Kitchen painted. It looks great but I am beginning to hate the odd decorative daisy style tile thrown in every so often in the splash back / other areas. They just do not go with the new colour scheme.
I feel I have 3 options -
1. Remove them and replace with better ones. Walls are plaster board and could get messy?? About 8 to replace.
2. Tile stickers - hate them but maybe only option.
3. Paint them (to match)  - will all tilers on this forum hate me for doing this????
Any comments would be appreciated. :cussing:

Painting them is not ideal and it is often difficult to get a decent finish.

I'd opt for replacement.

Driill each tile in the centre and then remove the grout from around the tile and then carefully break the tile away from the centre, then scrape off the adhesive and refix the new tile in it's place.

Just pray that waterproof adhesive wasn't used, it's a *astard to get off, or maybe the pro tilers have an easy way to remove it!
