Why? |
If you don't pass the test you should be stopped from driving. _________________ Don't buy a dwarf with learning difficulties,

So if I failed the IAM test are you saying I shouldn't be driving?
I drive quite a lot and drive regularly with groups of cars both on road and on track. Among them are a couple of IAM drivers, neither of them have ever and will ever have me as a passenger either on road or on track.
In fact one of them, a more senior member of our club has recently turned his car 360 degrees on a public road and has had his collar pulled for driving with excessive speed again on a public road.
He was appalled when the Officer ignored his IAM Card subtly inserted in with his driving license.
He has less (miles driven) experience than me but he like you believes that because he's got the 'Ticket' he's a superior driver. I'm happy for him to continue in his believe but if he were to pontificate that a certificate is proof of ability?
It's a bit like the super electrician wizard/god qualification certificate title bull that's being wafted around the forum at the moment. Just because I can pass the test, the exam, hold down the certificate, pay the fees doesn't mean I have the substance or professionalism to perform and maintain those same standards.
Oh and before anyone gets the wrong end of the stick I'd like to make it quite clear..... I AM A DRIVING GOD! _________________ Jaeger.
