I've got my misses a cordless dyson for Christmas, first time I've bought her a practical prezzie and she said she fancied one but I think it's 50/50 whether it'll be received with thanks.

You will not get any thanks for it. [I have only read as far as the above]. It looks like a disassembled IKEA book case carcass that you are thinking of converting to a discreet wine rack so Mrsus does not figure it out when it is hidden in the garage.

..errrr, no one seems to have asked the question.... WHY?

It's a fantastic thing wine~o but is it ornamental? for a customer? film prop? or just the hell of it?

Are you planning to sell them? I reckon there could be a market for them!

Given the price asked for the old red telephone kiosks have you considered knocking some of those out?

@ Kellys eye and London Mike... Basically just for the hell of it. The Mrs. has a "unique" garden feature and she is a big Doctor Who fan... and it raises a smile from any passers by (it's in the front garden)

I wasn't looking to sell any and if approached I wouldn't build another one in Verwood.

Offers of around £ 2,500 might see me build one in another nearby location.

As for practicality it'll probably be used for storing a few garden tools to clear up some space in the garage.

Pull the other one. That box makes excellent storage for a few dozen bottles from Majestic (or elsewhere if you must). Majestic have an offer at the moment - unless it was specific to me to tempt me, if you buy X bottles of vino you get some glasses ... unfortunately I don't use fancy glasses as they have a tendency to end up on the floor ... and red wine and cat hair WTF ... I would rather keep drinking the vino.
