I do not think so. Tell them you are leaving them. Chances are they will upgrade you. I did with NTL and they upgraded my calls and broadband , to keep me. They are all desperate for trade at the mo', so give it a go.

Agree, or cancel and sign up with someone else.

Broadband is huge business at the moment, With BT being ordered to provide space in the telephone exchanges for ISAM racks for various ISP's The gravy train is rich with great deals available if you can be bothered to shop around and stick your neck out. TELL THEM HOW MUCH YOU WANT TO PAY.

I have spent some of the last 18 months installing broadband racks and tie cables in BT exchanges for Alcatel who have a major roleout program with various ISP's

I ring my ISP every three months (Tiscali) and have had three ugrades all for free, without having to threaten them with leaving.

Started with 1meg upgraded to 2meg when I told them I had recommended 3 new customers, then upgraded to 7meg when I told them I had locally referred 10 more people.

There was some truth in the tales, howevers, numbers had been changed to protect the innocent lol
