Real idiotic question coming up.

We have had problems with a radiator in the hallway for ages now. It's leaking from the bottom. Not the pipes but the actual radiator. I had assumed it was the pipes. I gather I need a new radiator.

It's 96cm wide by my measurements. I measured from the radiator sides, not the pipe work. Do I round this up to 100cm?

Next dense question. Below is the radiator installed. Can I change it to the radiator in the link below that?

Is this a difficult procedure? I am going to guess it will never be as easy as take off the old one and put on the new one.

Yes you could change it for the one in the link or the stelrad compact K1.

In either case you will have to drain down and alter the pipes one end, so how easy depends on your plumbing skills, perhaps a couple of compression elbows wouldn't look to bad.

Is it not posible to use valve extensions and use a 900mm wide radiator to save altering pipework ?

I think one pipe maybe on the skirting looking at the pic. but yes you could do that if you needs be.
