Hi,

Just dug a hug bush out in the front garden and have come across a type of drain vent, or what looks like one, Picture below, can anyone identify this and tell e what it is? Im hoping to have the driveway re done in the coming months and am hoping this wont be a problem.

Photobucket is useless now, unless you want to give them money.

Try Imgur, Imageshack, Flickr or one of the other hosting sites, or you can post pics direct from your PC, (and probably your phone, but I know zilch about that).

its an air vent contraptn usualy located at the end run of the house main drainage pipe near the boundry. sometimes they sit above a house trap which is better to get rid of. the screen is to prevent vermin coming from the sewers.your screen is nackered. if youve had problems with the drainage have it all dug out an replaced before doing any surface work

Thank you, I have had no problems with drainage at all, do you know if they are they easy to remove?
