Had my 72,000 mile service and as the book said "replace CAM belt".
Got van back. Drove it fine for 1 day, then today BANG BANG BANG from the engine.
No oil or water p*ssing out.
Got towed back by AA and the van can start but sounds like a WW2 spitfire.
I know jack all about vans so does anyone have any thoughts?
Garage has it back and I have a loan van so can carry on working but am freaking out at what has happened to a van that had never broken down before the CAM belt change......

step father has a Synergie, just had a phone call from dealer garage, it appears they have slipped a tooth when fitting the belt & bounced the valves Shocked
will know more when they've stripped it down

also had it happen to a works van (toyota hi-ace) the garage replaced the valves, pistons etc but it was never right & drank oil like hitch drinks cider
