Is it allowable to have a calor gas bottle in a cupboard (kitchen) feeding a gas hob?

Somehow I compare calor gas mobile heaters to this subject and think 'if calor heaters are allowed then running a hob is too'. But what do I know? Which is why I'm asking. Ta.

Original plan was to have external bottles feeding hob and boiler but have since decided that economy 7 water heating is cheaper (although not much use during the regular power cuts we have around here).

Even the hob is (currently) mid-argument with SWTSMBO as my preference is gas whilst hers is electric - ho hum...... any 'hassle' and she wins (of course  )
