Hi all

I want to convert a workshop into a garage. To do this I need to raise the floor 1 meter. To do this I want to build parallel walls create wooden shuttering between the walls then lay concrete on top.
How can I work out the thickness of the concrete, The mix and the steel reinforcement to use.
The opening to the garage will be 2m high by 2.4m wide so the loads involved would not be that great any ideas?
