I am trying to redecorate my living room. I knew from when I moved in that the repainting of walls was a temperamental job. Walls are silk and are being repainted in silk. I have done all prep, sanded, washed down etc. I have them primed in zinsser 123 and the little blister bubbles appear. Haven't started silk paint coat yet as in this room the primer isn't working like it has in other rooms. Any ideas, reasons, suggestions most welcome?

Use the paint scraper or putty knife to scrape the paint bubbles off the wall. Sand down the area where the bubbles used to be until the area is smooth and the division between the paint and the wall is seamless. Clean the area that you scraped and sanded, removing any grease or dust from the wall.
