It is when they put "Unlimited" in big letters on the website and it takes 20 minutes of clicking to find out what the FUP says is when I have the issue.
Nothing wrong with a FUP - when they are honest about it and the customers know up front it is there. _________________ I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?"

I understand what you meant by "fix the ariel now" - time to get out the little giants _________________ I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?"

When I moved to my current house, the people had the sitting room on an outside ariel which had a normal ariel socket in the loft to plug in the lead headin got the sitting room. And they said "Oh, the TV in the kitchen isn't a very good signal" - turns out that one was connected to a indoor loft ariel with the ariel lead socket about 12 inches from the 'proper' ariel.
I wonder what genuis set that up for them - and how much he charged -
Took nearly 2 minutes to plug in a splitter and rescan channels _________________ I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?"

Just found out ....
BT Vision Box is a twin tuner Can record one Freview channel while waytching another
Can't record two programs at same time, but got the Humax for that _________________ I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?"

so can my Humax 9200T Freeview PVR :tongue1:
(can't find tongue stickng out icon )
I read somewhere that if you record a film from Sky Movies 1 for example and then stop your Sky Movies 1 sub, you cannot watch your recording. Is that right?
Actually, now I have an ariel lead to my office, I can rebuild my PC Based PVR with its Hauppuage PCI and USB tuners - 4 Simulanteous recordings
Only thing is .... even though I can now record 7 programs at any one time, there is rarely even two programs worth watching at any time _________________ I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?"

UPDATE:
I am liking BT Vison more and more
Just found out it can record two programs simuataneously (they don't say you can in the manual, but when I scheduled two clashing programs to record, it did it )
Also has a lot of the BBC On-Demand programs from iPlayer available for free
Finally - Found out the Bandwidth requirements - TV via Broadband for the BT Vision box ringfences 1.5Mb of your capacity when watching a On-Demand program and frees up the rest for 'other use' such as web surfing, downloading, etc.
So far well worth £30 of my cats inheritence _________________ I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?"
