i bought one of them after hearing such good things about them of sites like this one, been using it since i bought it, got a good amount of brushs in there, say two brushes for gloss, two for satinwood, two for eggshell, two for undercoat, then a few others, but you get my point, ive kept it all in order, making little note on the side, like GW, for gloss white, EW, egg shell white, SW satinwood white, then the other day i knocked it over!!! im gutted, i havent got a clue what brush has what on! |

cruel b******
If you are using something like a Brushmate where you end up with sets of brushes for diffeent paints, would you not also mark the brushes themselves in someway to show that

Must admit, I've used one for quite some years now, and never bother about different finishes, only colours, as the brush will work in the next finish very quickly.
But it did give me a bit of a laugh |

I only ever use one brush for one finish
usually coz I don't clean it out properly so have to bin it when I next pick it up

For one offs like Zinsser BIN and Hammerite I use throw away brushes far cheaper than buying the solvent/thinners.
As I have said before I am a tight and sometimes lazy individual.

I used to work with a bloke who used to identify his brush by the bite marks he would put in it |

2 x 2" white brushes one for gloss or u/c one for satinwood
1 x 11/2" white
1 x creamy colour
1x green
1 x blue
1 x black
1 x grey
1 x varnish
