Hi guys. just a quick one, whenever i do any plastering work i always use bonding because i know i wont have any problems with it sticking to the walls.

Ive got a little patching job this weekend (about 3ft square) and i was automatically just going to buy a bag of bonding and a bag of skim. but it got me thinking, would using browning instead of bonding affect the overall finish of the patch or is the difference just purely just the ability to stick to lower suction walls?

I usually purchase aggregates needed to fit the situation. For instance, if you patch a wall in a bathroom with browning you may come accross damp problems as browning isn't good in high moisture situations....
