I'm fortunate that I can get my Broadband paid for (when I remember to claim it!) and currently paying £27.99 for BT Broadband Anywhere (which has a free mobile phone with it) and was thinking that looked a bit pricey.
Then I noticed how much I used to pay for NTL and that was £37.99 for broadband - Pretty sure my company wouldn't pay for the Cable TV bit ( ), so that must have been just Broadband PLUS another £10 for line rental on top of that.
Makes BT not look that bad now _________________ If you have a son, DO NOT name him after a verb ....

The FON? Nope - but only because I haven't gone anywhere!!
Having said that - I have connected to my own FON Hotspot on the Homehub just to check and it works ok.
You should sign up to it, Handyman - you could use your Nokia 95 on them.

I'm with Sky, went for the Sky+ package, extra £5 for Broadband and paid extra £5 for telephone package (free 01 and 02 numbers 24/7)
Reduced BT phone bill from £100 per quarter to £50 including line rental, which more than pays for the Sky upgrade. More than pleased with the package as it does everthing I want. _________________ Retirement is an Illusion |

I changed to Orange last year from BT Dial up, £26 per month including line rental, free 01 & 02 numbers via internet all day and 01 & 02 from landline after 1800 t0 0600.
Seems to be working OK, did have broadband via Tiscali but had lots of problems so binned them within a month quoting " lack of contracted service".
They didn't agrue.
Am waiting for cable to come to area to see if any benefits.

Free 01 & 02 all day using VOIP/Internet is very handy
I use 1899 for daytime calls which is 3p a call unlimited call length, but free is even better _________________ If you have a son, DO NOT name him after a verb ....
