Oooops Just responded in your other thread about planes and doors.

But if I were buying another plane I would go for the Bosch.

Hi wine~o, all you'd be paying for is the name with the bosch the only reason id say to you buy the draper is because its pretty good quality for general d.i.y. So buy the draper.

Took your advice and went to Wilkinsons to buy the Draper.....Out of Stock...

Some larger branches of Sainsbury also do them...so tried there...Not one to be had....oh well plan "b" then...

B&Q for the Bosch...£44.....

Then Mrs. Wine~o notices a different make reduced on the bottom shelf

http://www.transtools.co.uk/store/prod_ ... 240v-.html

B&Q price £38 :huray: better bit of kit for less ££££££

Just used it for the first time...took 1.2mm off with no effort at all....now to paint the door...

I always fin with Draper tools and other unknown brands spares are difficult to find.
Bosch spares are available.
I used to stick with B&D as there was a repair centre in Portsmouth where repairs were reasonable and one could pickup 'reconditioned' appliances.
