After buying a splurge on tools i got a bought laser measure. thought about getting one for ages and after playing with one in the shop decided to buy.
I have to say i cant believe how easy it is to use and its had a lot of use recently.Worked a treat on some large windows i have to fit 2.7m high bar grilles to.
In the shop i was measuring loads of distances then checking with a tape measure and its spot on.

On another note a good local tool shop is worth supporting even if the prices are more than screwfix. The fact you can try stuff out and get good advice from someone who knows the product is worth the extra.I was in there a fair bit of time and they were quite happy to let me try anything i asked about.
I for one am going to be buying more stuff from this particular shop than screwfix as the service is spot on. I reckon i could have saved £50 buying online on the amount i spent there but their expertise and product knowledge was well worth the extra.
