I should probably know this but I will ask the forum anyway.

Whats best for going over or covering up old bricks?

Straight hardwall? Or bonding with pva applied first?

Cheers for that

The job does involve covering up some plastic pipes aswell which I will probably use expanding foam to cover up first. So is hardwall ok over that too?

its a backing coat plaster for brick or block.

no its not its a backing coat for stone !
