Hello all. I have a baxi boston 2 60-rs and never had any problems up until recently. For the first time my gas ran out (i forgot to top up) and ever since then my boiler wont kick in. I can light the pilot light no problem and it stays on, the pump above is still spinning and eveything seems normal apart from that. Im thinking it must be something minor for it to be ok one minute, then gas cut off and now it wont boot up. And yes, i have put more gas back on! :p

Thanks in advance if you could advise. Cheers.

Has the grey knob come right out.

Turn the boiler thermostat to off and wait 3 mins to reset the valve, and it should work.

It will click when ready.

Is the pilot alight

Turn the thermostat to off, and light the pilot, after 3mins turn the thermostat up and it should work.

Ok try it another way.

Turn the stat to off, then turn the grey knob to extinguish the pilot.

Wait 3-4 mins and relight the pilot, make sure the knob comes right out.

I assume this is on LPG?

If so go and check your UPSO at the regulator

Don't think they made the Boston for LPG Dave.

I took it to read the pre-payment card had run out.

Give the gas valve a gentle tap with a hammer handle.

And don't whack it, or you'll need a new one

Yes but the main valve isn't opening.

Are you sure the electric is turned on and programed to work

Turn it all on to 24hrs.
