Hi there this is my first post, so here goes

We moved in to our house around 10 months ago and we have a Bosch worcester r40 condensing boiler. The flame does not seem to want to ignite and it is all automatic, we have done a fault finder on it and it says P3 replace 24v fuse. Looking in the manual and it shows you how to take cover panel etc however ours seems different to the manual discription, now we are either being very thick or we need more guidance.

Is there anybody out there who could help please as we know if we can access it we can do it and we do not really want to have to pay out.

Cheers in advance

I know nothing about the boiler, but you have said its fully automatic, as such Id imagine it doesnt have a pilot light, but ignites on demand.

You said you have bled radiators, the system should be at 1.5bar as I understand things, if your rads are leaking, they will be depressurising all the time. IF a pressure switch is present, it may be stopping the boiler firing up.

Hi

Worked it out the hubby had gone round bleeding radiators like the clappers with the system on and hey presto no pressure, have put pressure back and told him if he is to be a bleeder can he do it when the damn things are turned of and the pump is not going as he is pulling more air through the pump and I will keep my eye on the gauge for the future

Still all is warm and dandy
Cheers again
