Yo!

Charged the boiler to 1.3 bar last night and all was super well - sorted the one minor leak out from the whole thing. Ran like a champ. It's been off over night (controller problems) and someone else has gone up to the house. It's dropped to 1.0 / 1.1 - is this because of the cold or is this more than likely a dribble somewhere?

Never really paid too much attention to my own, so I'm not sure if I'm doubting myself....

In fact, I'm thinking there is no problem and I'm being over worried.

Just downloaded the manual and re-checked - I just need to go round and purge any remaining air again and top up. Should be fine.

I'm still going to check joints before floors go down for peace of mind.

Cheers :)

Looks like you've answered your own problem. Pressure small drop could be a tiny leak or the difference between pressure with the system filled with hot or cold water. Just keep an eye on it. :-)

Be worth getting a decent RGI to check the work over and set the boiler up properly.

Went up and had a look.....looks like it was nothign to worry about. There was a bit of air at the boiler vent, but that was about it. Topped up to 1.3 again and all is well.

Need to get a new (cheap) wireless thermostat/program sorted next.

It's weird being stood next to the Intergas when its running - you can't hear it at all!!!! My Baxi at MUCH louder. Loving this Intergas so far.

  If only I had the option. I've got until tomorrow when all the floors start to go back down again. It's all topped up and running now, so I'll see what happenes tomorrow. All the other rads didn't have a spot of air in - I'm guessing it ended up in the boiler as it's the highest point maybe?

It's SOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooo nice going there to work now - I've been using a bottled gas heater that I have running each day, the place was freezing after 4pm. It's lovely and warm all over now. Mmmmm group hug!

You might actually get a bit of work done now you're not being mesmerised by the heater

Don't worry about a slight drop in pressure - if it only happens once

Ohhh that red thing went back the day after I think - aside from it being useless, it made me feel like I was a moth or something!!!

I'm sure it's great for drying plaster and running up a huge electric bill - nothing more though!
