Hi,

I have a tap on my both that has a shower attachment coming off the top of it, so the shower hose screws directly in to the top of the tap. I want to remove the shower but don't want to replace the taps. Can I buy something to screw on the the tap to block off the shower hole?

If so, what would this be called and where might I buy one?

Thanks in advance.

Depends what the thread is, perhaps a pic will help.

I'm not able to take a photo at the moment, but I have a shower hose like the picture attached fitted at the moment.

Could try a 1/2" brass cap, not sure you'll find a chrome one.

Thanks, I'm not too bothered about the look, so I'll try that.

If your not bothered by the look, make a rubber disc in the existing fitting and cut the hose off.
