Anyone know where I can get one of these online?
I need the whole thing not just the bleed nipple in the middle. The nut is 11mm and the OD of the thread which goes into the radiator is 7mm (maybe 1/4 inch thread)
I'm not having any luck finding one at the moment.

Hope it is ok I nicked a pic belonging to Forfarian from an old thread

Thanks thescruff, but I am not so sure, according to this site http://www.partridgeshadleigh.co.uk/catalog/radiator-bleed-valve-18-bsp-p-41.html?zenid=03fbvbm705qrspsr8ot2un7935 1/8 bsp has a thread outside diameter of 9.53mm where mine is 7mm.

I went into a plumb centre today with my part, and it is a good 2mm smaller than 1/8bsp. The guy there told me I wont get one they dont make them anymore. These rads were only installed 9 years ago, but maybe that is a long time in the plumbing world.
So I set about just trying to get a bolt the same size, thinking for now I can just screw that into the rad, sort of bleed it and get it running.
Looks like it might be about an M7 size, which B&Q didn't stock. So if I get the chance I will look elsewhere during the week.

and thescruff, I still trust you

The amount of old rads I take out and I always say we should strip the bleeds first ::b

Trouble is then the black sludge gets everywhere cos we move them upside down to stop it coming out of the valves

Strip the bleeds out just before you get shut of the rads?

Or, invest in a bag full of these:-

I was thinking the best place to find one of these is going to be down the local tip.

Myson rads were always a standard 1/8  never seen a smaller one in 53 years.

I'll ask the manager in plumbcenter tomorrow.

Can it be tapped out.

Actually I'll e myson in a minute.

That is the only thing left I could think of doing apart from replacing the rad of course. I'm not sure if tapping it out would be successful as there in not much spare metal around the existing hole, but yes I have been looking at buying myself a cheap 1/8 BSP tap set. (Any recomendations anyone?) Thanks again thescruff for chasing it on my behalf.
