I just cooked a big brunch and used some black pudding too. We love black pudding but usually get a Scottish one with oats in it because it has more oomph. I just had some rubbish from the Bury black pudding company. :puke:  Awful stuff, massive lumps of fat that didn't cook properly, bland and tasteless.

How does black pudding vary round the country?

 Doesn't say much for black puddings in the contest then. Made me feel sick, awful stuff, just tasteless, needed something to give it a bit of oomph.

Have you heard the black pudding chant? It goes like this:

A!
Eh?
Long!
A Long.
Black!
long black?
A Long Black.
Pudding!
black pudding?
long black pudding?
A Long Black Pudding.
Stuffed!
pudding stuffed?
black pudding stuffed?
long black pudding stuffed?
A Long Black Pudding Stuffed.

...

A Long Black Pudding Stuffed Up My Sister's Cat's Arse Twice Nightly Sideways.

Try chanting it when you've had one or two.

I'm going to see if they sell to local shops, if not I'm going to get it delivered. They sell it in 1.3kg pieces.

I had some with a breakfast on the way to a site job one morning... to be reminded it was pretty much the scrapings off the floor of the animal incineration plant we had just done some work at.

Think thats put me off it for sometime
