I bought some mending plates at the weekend to fix some kitchen units. I see you can buy them here for £1.43. I bought the exact same ones in homebase on Sat, 4 for £3.78

I have wasted so much £££ on brackets / screws / fixings etc from home base. I always end up needing it there and then so get stuck with going to the local place. Am just going to order £10 or £20 worth of stuff from screwfix, always handy to have lying about the tool box. Save money in the long run
